Instead of putting the hub motor in the wheel , the power goes into a double freewheeling, 3 speed mid-drive allowing it to be used on motor only, pedal only or both. The 24 gears gives super load pulling capacity and great top speed. Range is still untested but preliminary rides show it is about 2.5 times as efficient as a one speed.
