We give you the knowledge so that the choices you make, around the food you eat, are made knowing what the effects can be on your body and mind. We give you the insight on how what you eat affects your ability to work out, exercise and even to deal with daily stressors and hormonal fluctuations. Included in your Training Manual are nutrition journal pages so that you are able to log your nutrition (what you plan to eat and what you actually eat) and hold yourself accountable. The purpose of these pages is to make you accountable for your nutrition choices and effectively eliminate the mindless eating that sabotages so many attempts to change. These journal pages also help your Trainers to assist you with your new lifestyle change - the change to eating cleaner, healthier foods that work best for you. By journalling your nutrition, and by us supporting you in following up with tips and ideas surrounding your nutrition, we can work together to find the best type of eating that works for you. The food you need to eat, the kinds of foods and amounts of food, will depend on your particular goals and your exercise regime.
We incorporate and bridge the overwhelming aspect of how to put together your new lifestyle with the consistent exercise along with the all important nutrition tailored to you and your busy lifestyle. Unlike some other programs, where you are sequestered and taken out of the real, everyday, world, we help you develop strategies on how to best deal with a proper nutrition plan while still dealing with your job, the family, a social circle and the emotional attachments to food. We help you identify your own unique obstacles and then support you in your goals to change. We honour your unique sense of what works for you and what may be a struggle. By completing the challenges given to you each week, you will develop the tools to more effectively deal with what life may throw at you - the expected and the unexpected! Every week, we give you more information on nutrition/food strategies and take you to the next level, giving you more tools and more knowledge. You will be given handouts as well as suggestions for reliable websites and tips from your Trainers. There will opportunities in every class to share ideas, tips and recipes. As well, your Training Manual also includes at least 50 recipes for healthy meals, snacks, smoothies, dressings, sauces and even desserts! Your Trainers not only "talk the talk", but they "walk the walk!" Each one eats appropriately for their body and lifestyle. Each trainer brings, to the classes they work, their own journey. Giving you insight into how rewarding changing your nutrition can truly be. We have had numerous clients change their body composition (as well as their minds) beyond their wildest dreams! It is not uncommon to have someone (who sticks to their goals, nutrition and exercise regimen) lose anywhere from 6 to 16 inches in a single Training Session. That can relate to up to 4 dress sizes! So, if body fat loss is a goal for you, if feeling stronger is a goal, if wanting to feel more energized or to be able to handle stress better is a goal - then you want to incorporate our nutritional component into your life!
