Pitbull's All-Star Concert: Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Marc Anthony Make Surprise Appearance With Rapper Onstage in L.A.

After his stint on The Voice finale Tuesday night, Pitbull played the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, where he called on a bevy of A-list pals to join him onstage in a slew of surprise appearances that fired up the crowd.

And what a lineup it was: Surprise guests included Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesias, all of whom Pitbull has collaborated with over the years.

At the show, which giant video screens cleverly branded as "Pitbowl," Pitbull's showstopping guests all performed one song over the course of his 90-minute set.

The rapper thanked them all but gave a special shout-out to J.Lo, whom he called "the most beautiful woman in the world."

Interestingly, her ex-hubby, Anthony, sang about a half hour before Lopez, rocking a rendition of "Rain on Me."

"I told you it was going to be a special night!" Pitbull said when Anthony took the stage.

(Eyewitnesses later saw J.Lo backstage getting into her limo with beau Casper Smart.)

For his cameo, Brown—wearing a red-and-white tie-dye shirt and jeans—performed "International Love" for the show's third song.

Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas Starring in Chilean Miner Drama The 33

After telling E! News last week that she was circling a "small independent movie," the singer-actress has reportedly come aboard to costar with Antonio Banderas in the Chilean Miner drama The 33.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news, Lopez's participation marks her first big-screen foray since The Parker, her action thriller with Jason Statham.

The 33 tells the harrowing real-life tale of 33 Chilean miners who ended up trapped half a mile beneath the surface following a cave-in at their copper-gold mine deep in the Atacama Desert in August 2010. After a miraculous effort by Chile's government along with international drilling experts, the men were finally rescued 69 days later and all of them survived.

Hollywood producer Mike Medavoy (Apocalypse Now) subsequently acquired the rights to the story and tapped Banderas to play Mario Sepulveda, one of the first miners to be rescued. Nicknamed "Super Mario" because of his charm, Sepulveda has since become one of the key spokesmen for the group.

Costarring with Banderas in The 33 will be Martin Sheen and Brazilian thesp Rodrigo Santoro.

No word yet what part Lopez will play, but the ensemble movie is no doubt one of many commitments which the multihyphenate has previously said will keep her from returning to the judge's table on American Idol next season.

The 33, which is being directed by Patricia Riggen, starts shooting in Chile in the fall.

Jennifer Lopez Honeymoon Tape Lawsuit Not Settled, Per Ex's Camp: We're Holding Out for More

A notice from counsel that the matter had been settled was filed in L.A. Superior Court yesterday in the long-gestating legal battle between Lopez, Noa and two of his associates, who intended to sell intimate video footage from the exes' honeymoon before J.Lo's camp secured an injunction and had a judge order that the tape be locked up in a safe-deposit box.

But, according to Noa's business partner Ed Meyer, who owns a portion of the video, the warring parties have not reached an agreement.

"Ojani Noa and I have not accepted a settlement," Meyer tells E! News. "What Jennifer Lopez's attorneys are offering is ridiculous. We are asking for $ 3.75 million."

Noa's gal-pal Claudia Vazquez, who also owns a piece of the so-called film project, had been the one sparring with Lopez in court over distribution rights.

Lopez's attorney has not yet returned requests for comment. A hearing for both parties to show cause for dismissal (i.e. terms of a settlement) is currently scheduled for Sept. 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Jennifer Lopez Returning to American Idol? "It's Not Happening," Says Source

While speculation that J. Lo may return to the singing competition continues to grow, E! News can tell you that she has no intention of becoming a judge again.

"It's not happening," a source said.

To be fair, Lopez hasn't publicly denied the rumors.

"I don't know what's happening over there," Lopez said while appearing on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday. "I don't know. We will see. I'm always open to the infinite possibilities that the universe has to offer. So you never know."

As we've told you, Jennifer Hudson has signed a deal to be a judge next season. The move added fuel to the fire that Fox is thinking of filling the table with Idol alum. Among the other names being bantered about are Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken.

But, another source tells us, plans have "grinded to a halt" now that Swedish Idol honcho Per Blankens has been brought in to replace booted producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.

Randy Jackson, Nicky Minaj and Mariah Carey have already announced they wouldn't be back. Keith Urban has said he doesn't know what is happening with his future on the show.

Jennifer Lopez: 'We're realizing our power'

The entertainer spoke Wednesday at the Cable Show, a communications convention, ahead of new programming set to launch July 18 on the NUVOtv network. Lopez serves as chief creative officer of the English-language Latino channel.

"It's an extension of who I am as an artist," she said about her new role in an interview with the Associated Press. "As I grow in this business, I've been in the business close to 20 years now, that creative spark that you have doesn't go away. It keeps growing almost."

Lopez said working behind the scenes is just— if not more— rewarding than performing.

"Singing and acting and dancing and performing live, it's always going to be my passion," she said. "But at the end of the day when you're given the opportunities to be more creative, to create things more from the ground up, to really, really do things like NUVO, which is, really for me empowering a community that means so much to me."

She added, "It feels bigger than me. It feels bigger than just a television show. It's something that can change the world, the face of television, the way people feel about themselves, how they're inspired, what they aspire to do and to be."

The actress-singer-dancer said these are exciting times across the board for Latinos.

"There's a big revolution going on, it's like a media and cultural revolution of Latinos here in the United States," she said. "We're realizing our power. We're realizing that we matter here. You know, we're not just, you know, the guys working behind the scenes in the kitchens and as a plumber. You know what I mean. We really have influence. We're really growing as a community and we've come into a place where we deserve to be considered and served and catered to and that's an exciting thing for Latinos right now."

Lopez was meeting later Wednesday with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the National Council of La Raza and Senators Harry Reid and Bob Menendez.

She said businesses are getting on board too because of the tremendous buying power of Latinos, which is why she is also the creative chief officer of the Viva Movil brand for Verizon. The entertainer is opening a chain of 15 cell phone stores with bilingual staffers starting this month to cater to the Hispanic market.

While Lopez continues to undertake creative ventures, she said she will never stop performing.

"It's a new day when it comes to women. Where before, whatever, 20 years ago, you were written off by the time you were 25, oh she's 28, she's so old. We're realizing, the world is realizing that women are not even coming into their own until they're in their 40s, that they have so much to offer. That you can stay in shape, that your life is not over once you have kids and it becomes only about your kids, that to be a great mother, or great parent or great woman in this world you have to be a great individual first, you know what I mean, and that's very empowering and we're all realizing this."

Lopez said many major actresses in Hollywood right now are in their 40s and in the prime of the careers including Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Halle Berry.

"It's a new day for women, it's a new day for Latinos, it's a new day," she said.

Jennifer Lopez goes off-camera for new TV drama

Lopez is an executive producer of ABC Family's drama "The Fosters," which debuts at 9 p.m. EDT Monday. The channel says the actress and singer will be live-tweeting from her (at)JLo account during the episode.

"The Fosters" is about a lesbian couple who are parents to a brood that includes adopted twins and a foster child. The cast includes Teri Polo of the "Meet the Parents" movie franchise.

Lopez says the drama reflects the changing nature of families today. She says she may appear on the show or provide music for it in later episodes.

"The Fosters" was created by actor Peter Paige of Showtime's "Queer as Folk" and Bradley Bredeweg.

Jennifer Lopez Defends Controversial Britain's Got Talent Costume

After the 43-year-old singer received some backlash for her controversial costume, which included a skintight body suit and thigh-high boots, during her recent performance on Britain's Got Talent, the mother of two has now jumped to her own defense for her provocative attire.

"It was a bodysuit," she told Scott Mills on BBC 1 radio. "A lot of performers wear those these days. It's stage clothes. I'm not going to walk down the street like that."

The stunning star came under fire after she performed her hit single "Live It Up." Media watchdog Ofcom, which is similar to the FCC, told E! News it "received complaints, which we are currently assessing but not investigating at the moment."

The BBC radio host also pressed J.Lo for deets on her undergarments, asking the singer if she was wearing anything "under those fishnets to prevent a wardrobe malfunction."

"Sure. Absolutely," Casper Smart's GF replied.

Jennifer Lopez: It's irresponsible not to do TV like this if you get the chance. Like a lot of people, I was raised on idyllic shows like The Brady Bunch and Eight Is Enough. We need to put out the message that a family doesn't need to have one mom, one dad, one dog and a picket fence. A family is about love and acceptance.

Lopez: They were all over the Bronx, but I didn't really understand things then. Now I do. The foster-care system is often portrayed negatively on TV. The Fosters says it's actually a great system that can work beautifully. That was important to me. I also love that our two lead characters are lesbians and it doesn't matter. Their suitability as parents isn't questioned. They're just good people.

TV Guide Magazine: Can anyone relate to this show?

Lopez: I know I do! When you divorce, like I did, you can't help but think, "I'm so terrible. I really messed up. What's wrong with me?" But at the end of the day, my kids are happy. Their dad [Marc Anthony] loves them. I love them. We accept that things didn't turn out perfect. That's family. It comes in many different forms. You make it work.

The former American Idol judge stepped out on a slightly chilly London night in a coat made for winter in Antarctica. Sure, she may be trying to channel spring with the bright orange color, but the fur neck protector on this Fay coat is a sure sign that living in L.A. and Miami has thinned this New York native's blood.

Not only did the "chilly" weather prompt parka-wear, but J.Lo rocked knee-high leather boots too! And sunglasses that may as well have been ski goggles.

Jennifer Lopez's Sexy Britain's Got Talent Performance Draws Complaints From Viewers-Watch Now

Wearing thigh-high boots and a skintight bodysuit that left little to the imagination, the 43-year-old performed her hit single "#LiveItUp." The judges—even Simon Cowell!—were blown away by J.Lo's provocative performance, but viewers at home found her sexed-up look to be inappropriate for a family-friendly program.

Ofcom, which is similar to the FCC in that it regulates media, confirmed to E! News it has "received complaints, which we are currently assessing but not investigating at the moment."

"If we consider the potential that the broadcasting code wasn't abided by, there is potential we would investigate," a spokesman for the organization said. "But it's too early to speculate."

Lopez and her dancers, however, seemed oblivious to any potential parental concerns. She posted an Instagram photo of her team holding her up post-performance, writing simply, "Thanks @GotTalent for a great night #liveitup."

Jennifer Lopez to open cellphone stores

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez on Wednesday announced she's opening a chain of 15 cellphone stores and a website under the Viva Movil brand. The aim is to sell Verizon phones and services to Latinos.

The first store will open in New York on June 15, with others following in Los Angeles and Miami. The stores will have bilingual staff and provide a "culturally relevant shopping experience," Viva Movil said.

Viva Movil will be an authorized Verizon reseller, with the same prices and plans as regular Verizon stores.

Lopez is the majority owner and "chief creative officer" of Viva Movil. She said Viva Movil and its Facebook page will be a way for fans to connect with her.

"Latinos need a place to go and they need to be catered to because it is such a growing, growing demographic and market and people want to capture that, and they deserve to be catered to," Lopez said in an interview.

Lopez is no stranger to business. She owns a film and television production company and has launched clothing and perfume lines.

She said she wasn't looking specifically to get into wireless — "it was just one of those things where you sit down with people and you start spitballing."

Marketing cellphone service specifically to Latinos has not been a winning formula so far in the U.S. One company targeting Spanish speakers, Movida Communications, raised $40 million in 2007 and filed for bankruptcy the following year.

Most attempts to cater to Latinos have focused on low-cost, no-contract service. By partnering with Verizon, Lopez is hitching her business to a company that's focused on premium, contract-based service, backed by a top-rated wireless network.

The U.S. wireless market does have a large but low-profile Latin American presence: Mexican cellphone company America Movil owns Tracfone, the largest provider of no-contract service, with 23 million phones active. That service isn't marketed specifically to Latinos.

“The Women’s Concert for Change: Live from London” is the centerpiece of Chime for Change, a new campaign to raise funds and awareness for female empowerment around the world, distributed to non-profit organizations focused in the key areas of education, health care and justice.

Jennifer Lopez on Returning to American Idol

As for returning to the judges' table next season, "I don't know! When I say, 'I don't know,' people think, 'Oh, she's playing a game.' I'm not," Lopez said. " I really don't know. If it became really real where I had to make a decision, I would have to sit down and really weigh out the options of what my life looks like in the next year to see if I would sign. Because it does take up a lot of time, and I do have a lot of other things going on that I'm super excited about. So we'll see."

One thing she's excited about is her work with Nuvo, which will re-launch in July with her biography special. "I am involved in everything," Lopez says. "The look, branding, programming, development, distribution—in every single way I'm part of the network."

J-Lo named chief creative officer of NUVOtv

The versatile J-Lo was announced last fall as a creative partner with the English-language Latino network, but her role was solidified Wednesday as NUVOtv held its upfront for advertisers and prepared for a re-launch of its programming in July.

In an interview before the presentation, Lopez said about two years ago she was approached by NUVOtv to serve "probably more as the face of the network. But once we sat down and I started expressing my point of view about the programming and the network, it grew into something bigger."

She said that, with the support of her own production company, she will be involved in marketing, branding and program development.

"A network that reflects the modern Latino experience, but in English, must have the quality that everybody has," she said.

Lopez will also be the subject of a 90-minute biographical special, the network said.

Among new series announced will be "Gotta Dance," a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of professional dancers accompanying Lopez on a world concert tour.

Asked if her on-camera presence is likely to extend beyond those programs, she said yes — "if we find a great show that I would star in anyway. But I always want to do what's right for the network as opposed to using it as a vehicle for myself. That's not the point."

Lopez laughed when asked if she would consider returning to "American Idol," where she spent two seasons as judge on a panel that is currently in turmoil.

"I'm gonna perform there (Thursday) night," she replied. "I don't know what else is gonna happen."

Looking ahead to the July 18 debut of the NUVOtv programming slate, she said, "We've given it enough of a facelift to launch, but we know we have work ahead of us."

Other series announced include "Rodney's Joy," a reality show about Grammy Award-winning producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins as he takes on a new client — his wife, Joy Enriquez — as well as "Mario Lopez: One on One," an interview show.

J.Lo's new single a harbinger of album later this year

Lopez and RedOne's 2011 collaboration On The Floor went to No. 1 on more than 30 charts around the world. She will perform Live It Up on the American Idol finale May 16 on Fox and the Billboard Music Awards May 19 on ABC. The video premiere for the song will be announced soon.

RedOne is executive producer on the upcoming album, a role he had in her previous album Love? In addition to On The Floor, it also spawned the hits I'm Into You and Papi.

"This is like a dream come true for me," said RedOne. "It was amazing to be able to work with Jennifer on so many great records over the past two years and now it is such an honor to have her on my label."

On Wednesday, the duo debuted their new dance single "#LIVEITUP." (Yes, there's actually a hashtag in the title. #Cool #new #trend #or #just #annoying?)

Well, the upbeat, heavily autotuned track is pretty straightforward, bouncing between J.Lo and Pitbull proclaiming their excitement for living it up and hitting the dance floor.

One Lopez-sung lyric goes: "Turn up this mother, and let it play/ I know you like my bumper, don't be ashamed/ Don't even wonder, it's just a game/We're rocking body to body let's go insane."

"Make love. Don't fight," Pitbull says several times throughout the song. "Let's f--k tonight."

Soon after, gunshots were reportedly heard nearby, prompting security to rush Lopez to safety.

Thankfully, Fort Lauderdale Police tell E! News that the star was actually on the other side of the beach and there are no reported injuries at this time.

Jennifer Lopez Rushed Off Set of Video Shoot After Gunshots Reportedly Fired Nearby

The star was on the set of a video shoot in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., when gunshots were reportedly fired nearby, immediately prompting her security to rush her to safety.

Fort Lauderdale Police told E! News that officers responded to a call of shorts fired at the northernmost point of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot. Lopez and her crew were filming in the southernmost end of the park.

Officers responded to the area in an attempt to investigate. However, the individuals involved in the shooting fled prior to their arrival. At this time, there are no known witnesses, no reported injuries and no further information.

Lopez was in the middle of doing a TV interview on the set when the shots were purportedly heard, and Lopez, who was there with beau Casper Smart, was quickly taken to her vehicle by security.

Entertainment Tonight's Rob Marciano, who was conducting the interview with the former American Idol judge when the shots rang out, later tweeted about the incident.

"BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," he wrote.

"Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street," Marciano added. "Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew."

Lopez had been in the area filming her new music video with Pitbull, "Live It Up."

E! News has reached out to Lopez's camp for comment.

Beyonce, J.Lo to headline London charity concert for women

The "Sound of Change Live" concert on June 1 in London's Twickenham sports stadium could fund at least 120 projects supporting girls and women in more than 70 nations, if all the tickets are sold, organizers said on Wednesday.

Organized by the Chime for Change campaign, founded by Italy fashion house Gucci, every ticket buyer will be able to choose which project their ticket will fund in what organizers said was a world first for such a venture.

Beyonce, currently on a European tour, will play a 45-minute set. She will be joined in the venture by singer and dancer Lopez, R&B artist John Legend, British indie sensation Ellie Goulding and rapper Timbaland, with more performers still to be announced.

U.S. actors James Franco, Blake Lively and Jada Pinkett Smith will be among the presenters.

"Our goal is to have a great time together while we unite and strengthen the voices of girls and women around the world," Beyonce said in a statement.

Rock promoter Harvey Goldsmith, who helped put on the Live Aid and Live Earth charity concerts, will produce the concert which will also be broadcast internationally.

Ticket prices range from 55-95 British pounds each ($85-$150) and 52,000 tickets are on sale.

Jennifer Lopez Returning to American Idol, Will Perform on Finale

The former judge will return to perform on the finale next month, a source exclusively tells me.

No word yet if Lopez will be belting out a tune—and shaking her iconic booty—on the first or second night of the two-part finale airing May 15 and 16.

Rumors that J.Lo was in talks to perform began circulating last week after it was reported that Idol producers tried hatching a plan to bring her back as a judge.

A supposed plan that, if you hadn't heard, included giving either Mariah Carey or Nicki Minaj (or both of them) the boot.

"There will definitely be changes to the judging panel for next season," a source told E! News last week. "Fox thought the Nicki-Mariah contrast would make for ratings, but there is concern it is like nails on [a] chalkboard for middle-America viewers."

But a rep for Idol shot down any chatter about changes at the judges' table, saying, "This is just another ridiculous Idol judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale."

An Idol rep declined to comment on J.Lo's upcoming performance.

Jennifer Lopez: I Was 'Freaking Out' When Son Max Needed Stitches

For Jennifer Lopez it was when her 5-year-old old son Max was bleeding under his chin and needed stitches, the latest milestone in motherhood for the Dance Again singer.

"I hear that all little boys have a scar on their chin," she told PEOPLE of the recent mishap. "Of course, I was freaking out, but he was fine. He said it tickled."

Report: American Idol's Plan to Replace Mariah Carey With Ex-Judge Jennifer Lopez Derailed

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Idol EPs and Fox execs had been looking to shake things up (and potentially give viewership a boost) by replacing resident diva Mariah Carey with Lopez. But the plan is said to have hit a major snag when, upon learning of the behind-the-scenes scheme, Carey’s team “responded with a threat of litigation.”

While Fox, production company Fremantle NorthAmerica and Carey’s reps all declined to comment on THR‘s story, Idol boss Nigel Lythgoe told the trade, “I have not been included in any conversation regarding replacing Mariah with Jen this season.”

Lopez — who departed the series in Season 11 after two years at the judges’ table – may still return to Idol this season, with producers in talks with the star to appear in the upcoming May finale.

"She was maybe thinking about doing a cameo in the pilot," says Jake T. Austin, who plays foster son to a same-sex couple (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) on the show, "but there was some apprehension in deciding how early they wanted to feature someone like her into the show.

"So she'll definitely come on," he said, "but at this point we just don't know when."

The series premieres on June 3.

"It's very current, it's very timely and it's something that's needed, especially on a platform like ABC," Austin said. "The thing is it's a family show and it's relatable. It's not targeting any specific demographic. We're just trying to tell a story and to appeal to a mixed crowd."

And before she filmed a music video benefiting African AIDS victims in 2010, her team submitted a backstage rider which included items such as a 45-foot trailer, white drapes, Dyptique candles, white couches, white lilies, yellow roses with a red trim, white tablecloths, and apple pie (a la mode).

This week, Lopez denied a Star report that she was “demanding her boyfriend Casper Smart sign a contract to protect her image and growing empire,” with a rep calling the story “inaccurate.”

A rep for Lopez (rather predictably) said of our India story, “This is inaccurate.”

In the photo, a smiling J.Lo, dressed in jeans and a pink sweater, leans against Brown who's sporting jeans and a denim jacket over a blue Nike hoodie.

Also in the pic is songwriter and producer Cory Rooney, who's worked with the likes of Destiny's Child, Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey and Lopez's ex Marc Anthony. Rooney posted the same pic of the trio on his Tumblr page with the caption, "S--t got real serious up in here tonight..."

Rooney worked with Lopez on a bevy of her hit songs, including "Jenny From the Block," "I'm Real," "If You Had my Love" and "Ain't it Funny."

Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart have expanded their family with the addition of an adorable, tiny boxer (just like Khloé and Lamar!), who will join their other pet, Lil Bear.

Casper wrote, "Update.. Lil bear is doin GREAT!!! He was 9lbs when we got him, now he's 22lbs in a short 7weeks.. But @JLo & I have a surprise for y'all!!!"

"Meet Roxy.... Newest member to the family.... @JLo 's baby, & bears new boo!!!! #Surprise," Smart tweeted.

Casper included a sweet little photograph of Roxy, who just seems like best cuddle partner ever (where's Kim Kardashian at?), and will surely be a great "boo" to Bear.

We've learned Jennifer has been making the rounds in L.A., interviewing schools for her 5-year-old twins, who will be starting kindergarten in the Fall.

We know she went with kids in tow Tuesday to the famous Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley ... considered by many to be the best L.A. has to offer. By the way, it better be -- tuition and other costs total $33,345 for the year -- PER KID!

And when we say Jennifer was interviewing ... she's the one -- like all the other parents -- who had to put on some snazzy clothes to impress. Lots of very rich, very famous parents try getting their kids into Buckley.

Alums include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Matthew Perry and current student Paris Jackson.

We checked the roster for Buckley's High School but couldn't find Casper Smart on the list ... kidding!

Such is the life for the working supermom, who's celebrating twins Max and Emme's 5th birthday today, and she shared a sweet photo of the cupcakes she baked for the occasion.

"Happy Birthday Coconuts!!! 5 years of joy and true love!!! #schoolcupcakes #momduties #bestfeelingever," she posted on her Twitter page along with a pic of 24 yummy treats.

Lopez's twins are from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, and the friendly exes recently reunited for a family birthday party with Anthony's ex-girlfriend Shannon de Lima and Jen's current beau Casper Smart.

In addition to spending time with her family, the "On the Floor" singer recently stunned at the 2013 Grammy Awards where she wore $5 million worth of jewelry and rocked a sexy thigh-high slit in a black Zuhair Murad gown.

But today, J.Lo was just your average mom, baking and celebrating her children's birthday!
