"I put the track system on top of my Westy and am very pleased. At a distance or up close (when the racks are removed) you cant see the tracks unless your looking for them. Very aesthetically pleasing. I too looked at the artificial rain gutters and thought they sucked.

Here are some PICs of the tracks. They came as 2, 48 inch strips, I cut them in two then down to fit. Alignment was not easily obtained and I only drilled one hole at a time till I was sure they were positioned perfectly. There are stands that fit in the track (bottom and top piece) and slide to anywhere on the track (not pictured). If you have a sharp eye you will also notice that the plastic ends are only on the back tracks. Because only 4 came with two tracks I had to order 4 more after I cut up the track into 4 pieces.

...I forgot to include that they were a PITA to get lined up so the front bar stands were the exact same distance apart as the rear bar stands. It took time and patience to get the alignment just right before drilling. Also helps allot to have a helper. "
