Office Volunteer Program

ACPD relies on volunteers to keep our office open. The office volunteer program provides opportunity for people with disabilities to participate in volunteerism in a work environment. Volunteer opportunities include:

• staffing our reception area (helping consumers obtain information and making referrals to other helpful agencies)
• helping to produce our newsletter
• acting as an office support worker for projects that require additional attention
• acting as a volunteer advocate (see Individual Advocacy Program)

The office volunteer program operates in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources' Community Volunteer Program
