The West is not my first foray into comics, but it is the first I self published. Well, I self published it with my comp, a very small print run of 10 copies. The concept behind The West is really simple, it is essentially about characters that are real bastards from a period in British Columbia's past. The stories tell of the basic downfall of these people. When this was to be printed as a regular comic, each issue would be about a different character. But, the aspect of making this a web based comic, the basic 24 pages are divided into 4 parts, 6 pages each.
So, the issue number for each comic becomes redundant. Therefore, when I post these parts, each will be labeled with the name of the story, it's part, and the date it was posted.
