Peter is a retired Royal Canadian Air Force/Canadian Forces Pilot. The majority of his flying was done on Search and Rescue helicopters with 121KU, Vancouver BC; 102KU, Trenton, ON; 202 Sqn (RAF), Leconfield, Yorkshire, UK; 413 Squadron Summerside PE; 424 Squadron. Trenton, ON and BRF Goose Bay, NF (now 444 [CS] Sqn) interspersed with tours in ATCHQ and ATGHQ. He enrolled in Sep 1954 (Course 5415) and retired in 1991 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Peter is presently interested in Philately, specializing in Great Britain and Canada; Canadian Numismatics; all things associated with Macintosh computing (try ehMac for Canadian content) and Genealogy. He is a member-at-large of the RCAF Air Force Association and he has a membership in the RAF 202 Sqn Association.

Marie actively partook in Peter's career and managed to involve herself in the social life of the Air Force. She has also managed to work in many jobs to keep herself in cash flow. She has been everything from a convenience store clerk to a chief librarian in places where she and Peter lived. Now that she too is retired, Marie tends to the gardens and takes delight in preserving the many fruits and vegetables she nurtures to maturity. The 2011 crop is finished... and the grounds are prepared for Winter. She's slowing down considerably with hip, back, balance and esophagus problems, but still enjoys her gardens and family.

We are retired in Kelowna in the Okanagan area of British Columbia, Canada. Our five children are Pamela, separated from her husband; Douglas, married to Debbie Brown; Patricia, married to John James; Robert, married to Mindy Aitchison and James, married to Stacey Johnson. We presently have twelve grandchildren; Justin married to Carolyn Miller, Jeffrey, Kyla, Danielle, Joshua, Benjamin, Emily, Faith, Lauren, Ryan, Sasha & Caitlin. See montage below for the group.
