On the origin of, creator of, keeping of, proper conduct in the presence of, proper conduct when not in the presence of, and the bringing forth of The ICON

On the Origin and History of The ICON

  1. The Creator of The ICON was Kroosh't, a man who lived during the middle of the Twentieth Century, in a small house in Stead, Manitoba. The house of Kroosh't was situated at the boundary between the Manitoba prairie and the Canadian shield. The unique landscape in the region is consistent with the unusual Nature of The ICON. Only such an other-worldly environment could have inspired an artist to the degree necessary for the creation of an Object such as The ICON.
  2. The Creator of The ICON created many other Icons, though of lesser sort.
  3. Clearly, the Creator of The ICON was undoubtedly an artistic genius of the highest conceivable level.
  4. The ICON was obtained from Kroosh't by Louie, and presented as a gift to the family of the current Keeper of The ICON. This presentation of The ICON by Louie occured in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
  5. The True Nature of The ICON, and the fact that it was indeed The ICON was unknown until 1986, when ML, upon returning from a spiritual quest in Turkey, in a moment of epiphany, saw that the Gift of Louie, was indeed none other than The ICON.   ML became He Who Revealed Unto The World The Nature Of The ICON, and the first He Who Brings Forth The ICON By Day.

On the Keeping of The ICON

  1. The ICON must be Kept in such a position where it is possible that sunlight will fall directly upon it.
  2. The ICON shall be so positioned such that it may freely rotate of Its Own Will. In this manner, The ICON may slowly rotate to face the direction of the maximum incoming natural light.
  3. If The ICON has been positioned at a place according to the above rules, and The ICON has been Brought Forth according to Proper Ceremony unto this place, the place that The ICON has been Brought Forth to shall be known as the Place of The ICON and The ICON shall be considered to Reside at that Place.
  4. A place in which The ICON Resides is not the True Home of The ICON, unless the Proper Ceremony has been performed by the Keeper of The ICON.

On the proper conduct when in the Presence of The ICON

  1. It is considered an impiety of the highest degree to question the artistic merit of The ICON.
  2. The ICON shall not be examined, nor shall any of its components be enumerated, unless permission is given by the Keeper of The ICON, who must be present to witness any such activity. An such examination without permission is considered an impiety of the second highest degree.
  3. It is considered impious (of the second highest degree) to inquire of the gender of The ICON or of any of its constituent parts.
  4. It is an offense of the highest impiety to refer to The ICON in any negative or derogatory fashion. Any person who utters such an insult must purify themselves prior to enjoying the presence of The ICON in the future.
  5. It is considered an impiety of the third highest degree to question any attribute of The ICON mentioned herein, including but not limited to the Ability of The ICON to freely rotate of Its Own Will.

On the proper conduct when not in the Presence of The ICON

  1. Any and all impieties mentioned in the above section On the proper conduct when in the Presence of The ICON remain impieties when not in the Presence of The ICON.
  2. The impiety is lessened when not in the Presence of The ICON, to an impiety of one degree less. Thus, an impiety of the highest degree when in the Presence of The ICON becomes an impiety of the second highest degree when not in the Presence of The ICON. Similarly, an impiety that, when in the Presence of The ICON, would be considered to be of the second highest degree, is, when not in the Presence of the ICON, viewed as only an impiety of the third highest degree. Furthermore, in a manner not unlike impieties of the highest and second highest degrees, impieties of the third highest degree, when in the Presence of The ICON, are reduced to impieties of the fourth highest degree when one is not in the Presence of The ICON.

  10. When The ICON is being Brought Forth, whether by day or by night, He or She who is Bringing Forth The ICON shall not entertain questions concerning The ICON. Neither shall He or She who is Bringing Forth The ICON encourage any discussion of the Nature of the Essence of The ICON nor its True Home.
  11. It is permissible to allow rain or snow to fall upon The ICON during Its Bringing Forth.
  12. The ICON shall not be Brought Forth at sunset or sunrise, nor within five minutes of sunset or sunrise.
  13. The ICON may not be Brought Forth during the total phase of a total eclipse of the Sun. Neither shall The ICON be Brought Forth during the total phase of a total eclipse of the Moon. 17. Unless the safety of The ICON is threatened, He or She who is Bringing Forth The ICON must be walking on foot. The exception is if The ICON is Ceremonially Veiled; in this case The ICON may be transported in a motor vehicle.
  18. Anyone who Brings Forth The ICON, whether by day or by night, whether male or female, must be free of all impiety with regard to The ICON. Any impiety must be cleansed away, or the Rights and Privileges of that person who Brings Forth The ICON will be revoked and that person shall no longer be consider He or She Who Brings Forth The ICON By Day or Night.
  19. The questioning of anything contained herein is considered an impiety of the highest and most severe degree, unless that questioning is in a spirit of honest inquiry and contemplation.
