Anzio M10
One of the first Group Builds started
on The LEM was the Anzio Group Build. This GB included vehicles and aircraft
that were present on both sides of the line up until the breakout.
I chose to model Academy’s M10 Tank
Destroyer.
Right from the start I decided this
build would include a revetment of some sort with the M10 in a hull down
position. The M10 itself was built straight from the box with the exception
that the suspension and tracks were left off and relegated to the parts box. I
have a rule of thumb when I build.
“If you don’t see it, don’t build it
!!!!”
The kit itself went together very nice
with the minimum of clean up and very decent fit.
I chose to use B/W pictures for some
of the display photos.
They seem to capture the feel of the
time.
