C.M.P. Cab 13 Field Gun Tractor
with 6 Pounder Anti Tank Gun
Here we have Peerless Max’s very old
Canadian Chevrolet
Field Gun Tractor combined with a
limber from
Tamiya’s 25 Pounder kit and Italeri’s
6 Pounder A.T. Gun.
Considering the age of the Peerless
kit, it is an excellent piece
that is still available every now and
then under the Italeri
banner. This kit was built in 1999,
and was the last kit I
built before taking a 5 year hiatus
from model building.
All kits were built OOB with a few
minor additions. I took a
little artistic license in building
this combo. Canadians are
great at liberating things and I felt
that if a limber from a
25 pounder was kinda left lying
around, a Canuck would
probably just pick it up and use it if
he thought it
would made his life a little easier.
