SWARL Grid Locator Awards
The SWARL Grid Award is offered to SWL’s and Ham Radio Operators Worldwide for confirming having heard and verified Amateur Radio Stations in 100 different Maidenhead Grid Locations.
Verification can consist of standard QSL cards, eQSL’s or by verification email from the station heard. You will not be required to submit these verifications with your application.
This award is available in the Basic 100 level, Intermediate 200, 300, 400, 500 levels, the High Honours 600, 700, 800, 900 levels, and the Gold at 1,000 and above.
To apply, send a log extract by email attachment in txt format indicating Grid Location in Grid Locator order, date, time (GMT), Call Heard, Band and Mode. Email to SWARL@shaw.ca
The award certificate can be returned by email attachment in a Jpeg format for printing at your end. A hard copy can be mailed to you suitable for framing for a modest cost to cover shipping.
