·       Direct ask campaign begins tonight

·       Jan 17 speaker Gabor Mate : Question: should pay $5 each and have a brief PAC meeting after the speaker                                      agreed

·       Cabaret night (possibly Apr 21)

·       Questionnaire from Kitsilano merchants if you would like to fill it out

·       Upcoming meeting for FI Nov 16 in the library

5.     Resolution 1

·       That the Kits PAC Executive and its appointed representatives continue to advocate on behalf of Fine Arts program at Kits and report back to PAC as required.                                                                       agreed

Resolution 2

·       That the Kits PAC Executive and its appointed representatives continue to advocate on behalf of French Immersion program at Kits and report back to PAC as required.                                                           agreed

 

6.     Discussion and vote on letter to M. of Education on class size etc-

To read:

Supports improvements to education resources, learning and adaptive technologies, from learning assistance teachers and aides, to textbooks, equipment, and classroom resources.           

 

Agreed as amended

 

7.     DPAC report by Bill Narvey. Discussion and vote as to whether we should continue to be members of BCCPAC.

8.     Split into focus group

·       Fine Arts review chaired by Bill agreed that representatives of PAC would meet with Kits teachers to get their input before meeting with VSB reps.
