Student Winter
Skate, Friday, December 16th, 2005
On Friday, the last day of classes before the winter break classes will
be as usual in the early morning. At 10:15, classes who have
signed up to attend the Alumni/ Grade 12 Basketball Game in the gym
will cheer
on the team of their choice. At approximately 11:45 am - 12:45
p.m.,
a school wide skate will be held at the Kitsilano Community Centre Rink
where all students are invited to participate. A supervision schedule
will
be distributed closer to that date. Skate rentals are available
for
$1.10. From 12:45 pm - 1:45pm the student and staff hockey game
is
where the excitement is, while each team plays hard for the
championship.
It is a wonderful Kitsilano tradition and I hope all of you enjoy the
day. After the game, students are formally dismissed to begin the
winter break.
