At the end of every school year, the PAC hosts a special lunch for the teachers and staff in appreciation of the support and encouragement Kits students receive every day of the school year. This is an opportunity for families to contribute a favourite dish or dessert to a special buffet for a very appreciative Kits staff. If you are interested in helping coordinate this event, and/or if you would like to contribute food, please contact kitspac@hotmail.com

At the April 2009 PAC meeting in discussions about the June teacher appreciation lunch, there was a suggestion from a teacher that name tags for both teachers and parents might help the social interaction.

PAC will be  hosting a Lunch for the Teachers and Staff at noon on Thursday, June 19th in appreciation of the support and encouragement Kits students receive every day of the school year.  This is an opportunity for school families to contribute a favourite dish or dessert to a special buffet for the Kits Staff.

Food should be dropped off in a labeled serving dish at the Staff Room on the third floor between 8:00 am and 10:30am on the 19th. Finger foods or dishes eaten easily with a fork are best. Please include instructions for heating etc.  Empty, unclaimed serving dishes will be brought back to my house near the school for pick-up.

If you can't make a dish but wish to contribute $10 for this event, catered treats will be ordered on your behalf.

Wendy and Ingrid have already volunteered to do flowers. Other volunteers for set-up and  clean-up are welcome, or just drop by to say hi..

Volunteers needed for Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

                         Each year we honour our fantastic teachers (and school staff) by hosting a luncheon at the school.
                         The luncheon will be held this year on Tue. June 6, 2006.

                        Volunteers bring food.

                         It's time to ask you for help to make this year as successful as our past Appreciation Luncheons!
                         Volunteers are needed to help organize and lay out food, set tables and clear up between 11am and 1pm.

                         This is a good opportunity if you have always wanted to get involved in a fun event at Kits. Please email Wendy
