Growth Planning Day, 12 PAC volunteers attended morning session,
with
staff, administrators of Kits.
The afternoon session topic concerned teachers planning for teaching
through the seismic upgrade progress and their suggestions for seismic
upgrading school renewal. The PAC School Renewal Committee were invited
to attend this session. See PAC

There was a
School Growth Planning Day in 2007 with up to 12 parent volunteers
welcome.

Growth Planning Day in conjunction with staff, administrators of Kits.

Thurs. April 7, 2005
The Professional Development Day on Thurs. April 7, 2005 is set aside
for planning our school's path for the coming year. Parents are invited
to contribute by joining our staff, administrators, and students for
this
important annual event.
The morning will focus on our three school goals: Social
Responsibility, Engaging all Learners, and Strengthening our Parent -
School Partnership. We will assess our actions in each area, review our
progress, and propose new directions. Parents
are an important part of this planning process and have valuable ideas
to
contribute.
In the afternoon our Associate Superintendent, Tom Grant, will speak on
Professional Learning Communities. We will see how Kitsilano can
improve our school goals with this framework.
Please set aside a day to join us for this discussion. You will find it
enjoyable, challenging, and fulfilling.
