Mushroom Manure and Top Soil Order Form

As of March 9, 2006 we have between $900 and $1000 with about 250 bags (ordered extra) left to sell which would give us another $1000- $1200.

The Ashland's trip is cancelled due to many of the drama students being on the improv team which won a provincial competition and is now going to Ottawa for a national competition, so the drama funds will be put to other drama uses.

From April 3, 2006 Kits News Bulletin:

* Senior Boys Basketball Team Returns from Taipei- Report from Coach Randy Coutts

John Wong, the director of the trip, did a wonderful job of putting this nine day excursion together for the Senior Boys.  We traveled to Taipei, Taiwan and played in the 16th Annual International High School Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament.  The players and coaches were treated like royally with a four star hotel, bus transportation and an abundance of Taiwanese meals.  The games were outstanding. We went two and two in round robin play, lost to the Netherlands and Taipei but beat Japan and Korea.  We advanced to the final and made a good run against Taipei but fell short losing by fifteen points.

Many of the players were celebrities, signing autographs after games, being welcomed by the many fans and supporters watching the tournament!

The boys went on several trips, took in the Taiwan National Museum, observed Ocean World, (our version of Sea World) and went to many of the Night Markets found in Taipei.   This was one of the most amazing trips I have ever been on and we have been invited back next year.  I am trying to see if our girls' team could also attend!

Overall, an exciting and very jam packed trip!  One the players will remember for the rest of their lives.
