Articulation Breakfast with Elementary Schools , Friday, January 7th,
2005 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Last Friday, Kitsilano staff met with most of our elementary feeder
schools and Grade 7 teachers to talk about the vibrant Kitsilano Grade
8 Programme. We are very pleased with the Grade 8 Cohort this
year
and the teachers who have worked with these students at our
neighbouring
schools should be commended for their efforts.
The evening information meeting for grade 7 families considering
Kitsilano for grade 8 was held January 24, 2007 at 7pm.

Articulation Visits, Friday, February 3rd, 2006
All grade 7 students planning on attending Kitsilano have been invited
to an afternoon at Kitsilano to experience our school setting.
The Counselling Department will provide all of the students with an
overview of the school (five separate sessions giving the same
information) and
a number of teachers have volunteered to present two mini-lessons to
each group. The idea behind the lessons is to give the grade 7's
a taste of high school as presented by teachers who will likely teach
them in grade 8.
With the work of the teachers and counsellors as part of the
articulation team, we hope the students will recognize that they have
the opportunity to attend the finest high school in Vancouver!
