Kits PAC Special Interest Group -  Fine Arts Review

Fine Arts Program October 2005

To parents of children who love the Fine Arts program at Kits
 
Parents of children who are involved with the Fine Arts program (encompassing Theatre, Art and Music) at Kits are justifiably proud of the strength and vitality of both the program and its energetic teachers.
There is a concern among many at Kits that we need to have a review of the numbers of students who are offered seats in district programs such as Byng Arts . There is concern that if you take a large percentage from one or two schools in the neighbourhood you threaten to adversely and dramatically affect the culture of those schools.

In response to this concern, the PAC Executive has asked its DPAC representatives to draft a resolution that will be put forward at the next PAC meeting.

Please come out to the next PAC meeting and support our kids and this hugely popular program.
