| The most important day of your life
A bagpiper lends a distinctive, celebratory, and unforgettable element to any wedding ceremony. Traditionally, a piper is used for the processional and the recessional. For the processional, the bride’s maids are usually piped in. After a pause, and a change in musical selection, the bride is piped down the aisle.
You pay the piper, you call the tune
A beautiful "Highland Cathedral" or "Mairi's Wedding" can make the conventional wedding march seem drab in comparison. I can recommend music appropriate for the occasion. Requests are also very welcome, provided they can be performed on the bagpipes.
Bagpipes at the wedding reception
In addition to the wedding ceremony itself, a piper is often called on to perform at the wedding reception. There is nothing like the lively sound of the bagpipes to signal your first entrance as husband and wife.
