“Cave” is painted along the same lines as Stephanie
Johanson’s paintings
“The Lookout” and “Lookout II”. In the shadows a
dragon hides, watching out
the entrance of the cave. This painting was
completed in February of 2004.
The original is 18” x 24”. It was sold to Dave Duncan at Vcon 29, October 10, 2004.
Dave later donated the painting to be sold at an
auction to raise money for the Sunburst Awards,
but the auction didn’t happen and the painting “Cave”
ended up back with Stephanie Johanson.
The painting was displayed at the World Fantasy
Convention in Calgary 2008 and was again sold.
