Mr. Tie Sun is a graduate from the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. Upon graduation with a major in Violin performance, Mr. Sun joined Chinese Art Theater for Children. He was subsequently appointed concertmaster, and gained the valuable experience performing all over China from 1970's to 1980's.

In 1986, Mr. Sun received a scholarship and went to study at West Virginia University. At WVU, Mr. Sun completed graduate-level courses and performed in String Orchestra and Quartet.

In 1988, Mr. Sun immigrated to Canada and started teaching violin lessons in Toronto and Vancouver. Mr. Sun teaches both Suzuki and Classical method which ensure efficient results in a fun environment.
