Lorenzo C. Bailey's Galaxy

Bow Before Me Mere Mortals

You enter the domain of Lord Lorenzo C. Bailey, at least within this Universe. Once big in the Robo (VGA Planets) Universe, Lord Bailey's roots stem back in origin to the late 1970's. Clarence was an original Chivalry and Sorcery (1st edition) FRPG character in pre-computer days. Lorenzo C(larence) Bailey was a cross over to Traveler and some of Clarence's protege's made entrances into MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing) and later Role Master Standard System (RMSS) universes. Clarence even a did a brief stint in Paranoia, where he was convinced that everyone was out to get him, rightfully so as anyone who has played the game can attest.

This is mostly a place where you can review the exploits of Lord Bailey, galactic ruler, 20th level Warrior, Demi-God, and advisor to Lord Voder (the precursor to Lord Vader by a few years, who is no way like a Sith).

About the Falcon image. What has that got to do with Lord Bailey? Much of Lord Bailey's exploits have been computerized, either though being related to playing computer games or through having applications written to support the gaming experience. Lorenzo's alter ego, on Earth, used the programming name Firehawk or Falcon in the days of COBOL when pseudonyms were still used, much to the consternation of management. His favorite bird has always been the Peregrine Falcon, known to the be the fastest bird in the world (in a dive). This carried over to his incarnation as Falcon Whump; not the fastest race car driver in the world, but trying harder every day. The Falcon image just belongs more with Lorenzo than any other image does, so, for the time being, that is the image you will see a lot of on these pages.

RMSS Characters: Within the FRPG-verse of Lord Bailey, the RMSS Role Playing Aide was constructed to generate and maintain the characters accessible at this site. You can view the characters in text form, however, the download zip files are in the format of the application. The application is used by the gaming group only; it is not available for download or use.

Quake II: While one could hardly consider Quake II by ID Software to be an RPG, this is a game in which Clarence spent a lot of time. As it is no way related to NASCAR or any driving simulation, it could hardly be placed on the pages of the inimitable Falcon Whump. Lord Bailey's victories, and additional Quake II information, are documented. Lord Bailey was most, most victorious.

Pinball: This set of scores reflects an ongoing battle between Lorenzo and Master Pilot Captain EO (a.k.a. John Hancock). It is a compilation of high scores on all of the pinball games the duo have on their respective computers. Many an hour have been passed (with Beer of course), fingers glued to the CTRL keys trying for the elusive winning edge.

VGAP Planets: Lorenzo doesn't play VGA Planets, or even Win Planet, any more, but for a while he was at the top of the game. Project Phoenix Enterprises provided billing services for the Robo Server, which has grown greatly since those old days. At that time, Lorenzo was known only as Lord Bailey. Here is a summary of his adventures and a diatribe against several who dared question his 'authoritah'. (Lord Bailey is easily provoked).

Shen's Folly: Here then is the story of Harpoon's Brigade and their foray in to the arena of Death known as Shen's Folly.

Note: The artwork displayed within the story is scanned from Collector Art Card sets. In other words, none of it is mine, it is all done by professional fantasy and science fiction artists. I have not given credit for each piece as I have over 100 such sets. I do not believe this use is inappropriate as I have purchased the cards and this is not for commercial use or redistribution.
