Note: FF 1.0.1 was released on Feb 25, 2005 (at which point FF 1.0 had been downloaded almost 27 M times). Given that everyone with 1.0 needs to upgrade (and quite a few will no doubt be downloading from the official site before its released as a general upgrade) the download stats will probably be a little unreliable from now on. It was fun to watch them increase as they have been, but now the real test will be to (continue to) watch the browser share rise :)

Note 2: FF 1.0.2 released Mar 23, 2005.
Note 3: FF 1.0.3 released Apr 15, 2005.
Note 4: FF 1.0.4 released May 11, 2005.
Note 5: FF 1.0.5 released July 12, 2005.
Note 6: FF 1.0.6 released July 19, 2005.
Note 7: FF 1.0.7 released September 20, 2005.

European Usage Stats: "the french Xiti did some browser stats on sunday, march 6th, covering five european countries.
Germany came in first with 21.4%, France came in second with 12.2%, followed by Britain (10.9%), Spain (9.0%) and Italy (8.6%)."

From mozillaZine: Several organisations have released browser usage share figures recently [...] an InformationWeek article that says Mozilla Firefox now has a market share of over six percent. The figures come from Net Applications, who put Firefox's share at 6.17 percent in February, up from 5.59 percent in January. The firm says that Microsoft Internet Explorer lost share in the same period, falling from 90.31 percent in December to 89.04 percent last month. According to Net Applications CEO Dan Shapero, "Firefox is currently the only browser that is increasing market share on a monthly basis, and it is growing at the direct expense of Microsoft's Internet Explorer." [...] Finally, Adaxl sent us a link to W3Schools browser statistics, which show Firefox has a usage share of 21.5 percent this month, up from 20.4 percent in February. It should be noted that W3Schools is a Web development site and therefore its audience is likely to be highly technical, leading to browser figures that are anything but typical.
