Mbrwork can be used to repair or rebuild a partition table when it becomes damaged by a virus, Partition Magic crash, power failure, or other unexpected event. Of course make a backup of all data before testing this. If it's an emergency situation then proceed.

Option 3: Reset EMBR to zero.

Option 5: Install standard MBR code (you may reinstall a boot manager after)
