Site Name: Snags
Above McClease Lake, a small village 32 Km north of Williams Lake. Steep launch drop off in fire burn.
Landowners were reported to have closed the LZ. Contact locals before flying.

Site Name: Murray Ridge
13 Km north of Fort St. James is a Ski Hill that has been flown for a number of years.
Launch is on Crown land near the Fire-watch tower at 4200’ ASL.

The LZ is at 2000’ ASL on the Ski Hill slope so Insurance is mandatory. The ridge is 1 Km long and faces SE to SW. (In light NW winds the LZ is makeable.) The SC Ski club laid underground night-light wiring through the LZ, just so we could continue to fly the site. (Now that’s a first!)
