About the illustrator:

When faced with a day of honest work, Brianna shrieks like a frightened chipmunk and hides in the corner, shivering. After much persuasion, she can be convinced to venture forth with promise of cookies and mints.

Her sister is her caretaker on the rare occasion that she leaves the magic world in her head and actually tries to accomplish something.

She met the author Jenny in a magic land, where Mermaids and Unicorns roam free, eating the cotton-candy trees and having tea parties… Or not.

Regardless, Brianna was thrilled to be asked to create a cover for Jenny’s alternate ending of Animorphs.

Until… the DEADLINE.

“Well, Brianna,” said the author. “I love these sketches. I’d say you could have the Animorphs cover done by—”

“Deadlines! Pressure!” Brianna’s eyes rolled and bulged in her head. “Aaaahh!”

“Just look what you’ve done,” Brianna’s father sighed. “Jennifer, I warned you about those words. Now you’re going to have to get your illustrator down from the ceiling.”

Hi, this is the author. Brianna has abandoned all cool and calmness and is freaking out in the crevices of tight places now. We’re not really sure how she’s breathing. We think she may be choking on her own lungs.
