The DOS version of Internet Rex includes a scriptable dialup program and a packet driver for PPP connections. More packet drivers can be found here.

Configuration files for Rex from other operating systems are compatible with the Linux version, but only if the processor byte order is the same. You cannot use Linux configs created on a Mac or DEC in the PC versions of Rex, not even the Linux version.
