Rawes. Frederick
Was born in Langdale, Ambleside, Westmorland, and lived in Hoyland Common, he was the husband of Maud Kellett (formerly Rawes) of 74, Longfields Crescent, Hoyland, he enlisted at Birdwell and was killed in action on the 28th June, 1915, while serving in Gallipoli.
Research suggest that Fredrick Rawes Private 5935 1st Bn. Border Regiment and Fred Rose Private 5936 1st Bn. Border Regiment were friends that served together .
