Pearson. Harrry

He was born in Chapeltown the son of John and Sarah Pearson of 23, Fitzwilliam Street, Hoyland Common, he enlisted at Birdwell in the 5th Bn. York and Lancaster Regiment on the 29th March 1912, but was  medically discharged in the 15th October 1914. He  married on the 25th December 1914 and lived  at 17, Calvert Street, Hoyland Common.

On the 24th August 1915 he enlisted again at Pontefract in the 11th Bn. York and Lancaster Regiment, and was again medically discharged on the 26th May 1916, after hospitalization in Sheffield he died on the 9th October 1917, and was buried in St. Peters Cemetery on the 13th October 1917.
