Parkin. William
The son of Alfred and Annie Parkin of Station Road, Laughton Common, Dinnington, he was born in Wombwell and enlisted at Dinnington on the 9th december 1915, he embarked Folkestone on the 29th August 1916 for the Expedtionary Force France.
He was killed in action on the 12th October, 1916, while serving on the Western Front.
