Lockwood. Charles

The son of Arthur and Hannah Lockwood he was born and lived in Barnsley, he enlisted at Attercliffe and was killed in action on the 21st April, 1916, while serving on the Western Front.

Charlie and his brother Herbert, who also died in the Great War, are remembered on their fathers headstone in Hoyland Nether Cemetery - Gone but not Forgotten.
