Harley. Arthur Percy Cutts

Was born on the 25th February 1890 in Eagle, Lincolnshire the eldest son of John George and Alissamon Catharine Elizabeth Harley, he had seven brothers, Edward, James, Alfred, Charlie, George Edward, John William and Walter and three sisters, Ethel, Annie and Maggie.

He started his working life on the Farm at Red Hall Cottages, Bracebridge Heath, Lincolnshire as a Waggoner, later he lived at 124 Reform Row, Elsecar, Barnsley where he's thought to have worked at Elsecar Colliery engineering works, he enlisted in the York and Lancaster Regiment at Darfield, later he was transferred to the Royal Engineers, where mining workshop skills were needed in the 4th Special Company, which developed responses to chemical and underground warfare.

He died of wounds on the 27th April, 1918, while serving on the Western Front.
