Other WW II Soldiers
Names on the memorial were generally based on residence at time of enlistment or death, but parents of those who died often had their names put on their local memorial, this is evident in that some of those named on the Hoyland memorial were born or lived in other areas at the time of thier enlistment.
There could be other Soldiers names missing from this section, because where a Soldiers family lived is sometimes missing from records, these Soldiers could best be found through advise from those with information about family members who may have been resident in the Hoyland area at that time.
