Canadian
Parents for French (CPF) Vancouver North
Your child is studying French.
That’s a first step.
The next step is to support and
expand your child’s opportunities by
joining Canadian Parents for French.
Your membership means CPF can
continue to advocate for French language
programs in our schools. You become part of the strong membership base
essential for CPF to continue as a credible voice, locally,
provincially and
nationally.
The only parent advocacy
organization for French programs in public
schools, CPF is a national non-profit, volunteer-based society aimed at
providing the best French language educational opportunities possible.
Your $25 annual membership means
your family can benefit from these
opportunities.
Attend family summer camps, send
your child to the annual spring student
retreat, encourage your child in the annual public speaking contest.
Take
advantage of the French language materials CPF provides to the
Vancouver Public
Library. Encourage your child to apply for CPF scholarships. Learn
about
exchanges, summer work and travel opportunities through CPF
newsletters. Use
the forum and parent resource information to help your child in French.
Most of
your membership fee comes back to the local chapters in Vancouver to
bring the
French experience alive in these ways.
