Pixi Doll and Fawkes' Story
Fawkes and Pixi-Doll are litter mates, Fawkes was named after Professor Dumbledore's Fawkes the Phoenix from Harry Potter
They weres born by Ceasarian in a litter of six.Thier mother completely rejected her litter. Quick decisions were made to take him and his litter to be raised by Eowyn's mother Cleopatra which was a 6 hour drive from home at Songsee Cattery. Out of 6 only Fawkes and his sister Pixi Doll survived. What is so special about them that they represents the years of work and expense of importing to aquire the Red factor gene into my Cattery. This includes 6 of thier ancestors personally imported by me. In 2009 he is the last surviving Red point from his mother's side of the pedigree.
This is the reason he was named Fawkes..
