Different Strokes Calgary (DSC) is a non-profit, volunteer run swim club inclusive of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and their straight friends, dedicated to the master swim program philosophy of "fun and fitness for life" in an environment that is both positive and supportive.

  • Tuesdays 7 - 8 pm
  • Sundays 5 - 6:pm *

July 2010 to Aug 2010

  • Thursdays 7 - 8 pm

* There are no swim practices on long weekends.

Swim practices are at SAIT pool

Calgary, Alberta (see map)

The pool is located in the center of campus (identified as "V" in the map).

Free parking is available in lot P1, immediately below the campus centre (remember to bring your parking ticket with you to be validated).

Registration & Fees

All members must register using the registration form.

Members must join Swim Alberta ($27 payable to the DSC) and pay fees by one of the following methods (see Fees for detail):

- annual fee: $425, payable in installments

- drop-in card: 5 swims for $40

- single drop-in: $10
