CARDEA  CHORUS

Cardea Chorus, based in Calgary, is a non auditioned women’s chorus.

We sing downstairs at the WildRose United Church, 1317 -  1st Street NW.  Come and join us!

Mission Statement We honour the lives of women by encouraging, supporting and inspiring each other. We choose music that is written by women, is arranged for women’s voices, reflects women’s experiences and raises awareness of women’s issues. We celebrate diversity by welcoming ALL voices. Members respect, value and learn from their differences in racial and cultural heritage, age, physical ability, sexual orientation and spiritual expression. We create harmony by blending our unique voices together and singing a wide variety of music. We increase our understanding of choral techniques as we increase our enjoyment of musical expression.
