Five minutes drive from the popular seaside town of Sidney by the Sea with it's beautiful coastal promenade. Sidney boasts dozens of restaurants to suit every palate & pocket, and a wide variety of shops & galleries. Also referred to as Booktown, Sidney has a wealth of new and used bookshops. From Sidney, take a boat trip to Sidney Spit, a ferry to Anacortes Island or search out the area's resident Orcas on a whale watching tour.
World famous Butchart Gardens are a scenic 20 minute drive away, while Victoria city centre can be reached in 30 minutes via the nearby Pat Bay Highway. We are 2 minutes from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal connecting to Vancouver, plus the islands of Saltspring, Pender, Galiano, Saturna & Mayne.
Victoria International Airport is a five minute drive from Brookhaven. For those travelling on two wheels or on foot, we are a safe, paved, 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The Lochside Regional Cycle Trail runs parallel to our property & is accessed via a convenient pedestrian bridge. We can provide sheltered parking for bicycles. The No70 bus route from the ferry connects us to Sidney, the airport & Victoria.
