Royson's beautiful mom Kyla has joined the gang at Briarlane from Wildair Border Collies. Her ENORMOUS enthusiasm for doing ANYTHING at all, as long as it is with me, is touching. I've never had a dog bond so completely to me in such a short time. Before she came to us, Kyla finished her Championship with five majors in between goose hazing and having an outstanding litter by Ch.Brackenhill Royal Tartan. From that litter of three, all are AKC Champions. "Rime" went on to Best in Sweeps at the 2006 National! Violet also has the first of many agility titles to come under her belt.
June 2008 Kyla had a lovely litter of puppies sired by Ch Winpara Dragonfire - we've kept Willow. Kyla's third litter produced JAKE, also known as Briarlane's Dragonheart. Her final litter in the autumn of 2010 produced FORCE. We're expecting great things of this young boy! Kyla has been having fun in the Rally-O ring, and she earned both her Rally Advanced AND Rally Excellent titles in one weekend. Kyla made her Agility debut in the CKC venue in April 2010 earning a Q and a first place in her Standard Novice class, and she is now in the Advanced level in AAC agility.
