Membership Policy & Fees

The Beth Tzedek Congregation has always opened its doors to all members of the Edmonton Jewish community as well as the greater regional area. We encourage interested visitors to attend our Shabbat services as well as our holiday-related functions and educational events. Our services, which follow a Conservative Jewish tradition, are completely egalitarian and all members are welcome to actively participate in readings from the Torah, divrai Torah, questions and discussions.

Members participate, if they choose, in our many Jewish holiday-related parties, communal Passover Seder, potluck socials, book study groups, educational events and community fundraisers.

Membership fees include seats at High Holidays services.
Family Membership: $400.00 Single Membership: $225.00

High Holidays Only (non-members):
Per Seat: $100.00

  • Fees can be negotiable.
  • It is Beth Tzedek policy to never turn any individual or family down.
  • Students studying away from home are most welcome to attend.
Because we employ no full-time professional staff our annual expenses, and consequently our annual dues, are very modest in comparison to those of the major congregations in Edmonton. If being part of a smaller, tight-knit group sounds appealing to you, do attend one of our Services. You will be made most welcome!
