2006 Belmont Robot Team

Under the supervision of Duncan Haydon, and teacher/sponsor Jennifer London, a group of
Belmont Students embarked on the pursuit to conquer The Mayan Tower. The team was first
assembled in early February to begin designing and pre-emptive construction of this year's robot.

Many challenges were encountered and overcome throughout this arduous undertaking, testing
the true character of each individual involved. Yet through it all, we persevered, and have
successfully completed a robot capable of accomplishing our designated task.

We'd like to thank all our sponsors and everyone else who contributed in one form or another.

We will be competing in the South Island Robot Competition on May 17th.
