Recently, I hosted a garden party for a few friends. One of the guests, a friend of mine from the coast, happened to have along with her none other than Anne Butler of Creative Living Spaces. I had not met her before, and so did not know of her many talents. It was not until after cocktails and dinner that I finally had a chance to sit down and visit with Anne, and so by then she had a chance to take a good look at my décor and I had a chance to find out what she did for a living! I was desperate for her help and very soon was begging to be her next client. The inspiration and advice was so fantastic, I was tempted to ask my other guests to start helping move furniture that very night! As luck would have it, Anne was able to fit me in and come back for a proper consultation. There have been rave reviews from all my friends and family as to how the house has truly transformed to make the most of every feature.

Thanks for your help yesterday! It made me realize how much we have done already – I think sometimes when you live with something you tend to focus on what could be improved and forget that people see it with different eyes, and that not everyone is luck to have such a large house with only two people – it makes it easy to declutter and stay that way!

Your advice was invaluable and we did most of what you advised us to do with positive results, of course! Please check out Shirley Clarke's website under "recent solds" to see the photos of our home. You will see that it presented very well...a far cry from when you came to see it that day. When I went over my notes with my husband that I took from your visit he was very impressed with insights. We will now be moving into our "new" home which will be a lot smaller but our intention is to build a much larger and presentable house in 5-6 years time.
