The Vancouver School of the Alexander Technique
Gaby Minnes Brandes is the co-director of the Vancouver School of the Alexander Technique. The school was founded in 2002 and trains people to become Alexander Technique teachers. It is CANSTAT certified. The program spans three academic years, consisting of 1600 working hours. The Technique is taught primarily through hands-on instruction and practice, supplemented by the reading and discussion of Alexander's writings and texts about other relevant topics as they pertain to the Technique (e.g. anatomy).
